Shri Panchmukhi Sewa Samiti is a nonprofit organization rooted in the heart of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Our mission is simple yet powerful—to serve humanity through sustainable, inclusive, and community-driven development. Our Story
Founded by a group of socially conscious individuals, Shri Panchmukhi Sewa Samiti emerged from the need to address critical gaps in rural infrastructure, education, and environmental health. What began as a grassroots movement has grown into a dynamic organization making measurable impact across Uttarakhand and beyond.
Over the years, our projects have expanded in scope and depth—thanks to our partnerships with government bodies, semi-government agencies, and private organizations. We remain grounded in our belief that lasting change comes from within communities, not outside of them.
Our Focus Areas
Environmental Conservation
We actively work to combat environmental degradation through tree plantation drives, community clean-up programs, and awareness campaigns. Our solid waste management programs emphasize segregation at source, composting, and recycling to reduce landfill use and promote eco-friendly living. We also collaborate with municipal bodies to create cleaner, greener public spaces.
Education for All
Education is the foundation of progress. We run learning centers and support schools in underserved areas, providing children with access to books, school supplies, digital resources, and mentoring. Through after-school programs and scholarship support, we aim to keep children in classrooms and empower them to shape their own future.
Rural Development
Our rural development initiatives include building basic infrastructure like toilets, clean water systems, and community halls. We also offer vocational training programs, women’s self-help group support, and livelihood development schemes. Our focus is to create resilient villages that are not just surviving, but thriving.
Awareness & Advocacy
Creating awareness is the first step toward behavioral change. We conduct workshops and campaigns on topics such as personal hygiene, menstrual health, waste management, environmental responsibility, and government schemes.
